An Erie man accused of shooting his friend waived his right to formal arraignment in Erie County Court this morning.

Nineteen-year-old John Schlick is accused of fatally shooting nineteen-year-old Marshal Curl back in September at Schlick's home in Harborcreek.

Schlick is charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and involuntary manslaughter.

Curls death was ruled a homicide.

Schlick waived his right to a formal arraignment at the Erie County Courthouse.

Maybe he was just exercising his 2nd amendment rights to make his home safer by blowing away his friend with a gun?
