A new gun bill is causing a bit of controversy.
House bill "3-57" is nicknamed "The Right to Bear Arms Protection Act."
The bill prohibits anyone, including federal agents, from trying to enforce any type of gun control restrictions within state borders. If anyone is found guilty of doing so, he/she could face arrest and be charged with a felony.
Third District Representative Ryan Bizzarro says different legislation is needed.
The bill is still working its way through the Pennsylvania House.
This Wednesday the gun debate continues at the Erie Gun Owner's Congressional Town Hall Meeting.
The meeting is at Bob's Gun Shop on Edinboro Road.
U.S. Congressmen Glenn Thompson and Mike Kelly will be there. It starts at six.
