Drug Suspect May Be Involved With Friday Bank Robbery

A combined effort by Millcreek and Erie police resulted in the arrest of one man on drug charges and may be involved in a Friday bank robbery.

Erie police arrested Martin Mitchell at the Knight's Inn at West 10th & Sassafras Streets in Erie.
police picked him up on drug charges, but said Mitchell is also being questioned about a bank robbery last Friday at the First National Bank in the 27 hundred block of West 8th St.

 At this time no robbery charges have been filed but Mitchell is being held on drug related charges.
