If you go down to Presque Isle, you will notice dozens of beautiful ice dunes on the shoreline...

Ice dunes occur when water and air temperatures drop below freezing...

Ice ridges form along the Lake Erie shoreline and when the waves crash along the ridge, the mist from the water shoots up into the air and freezes.

But you have to be careful because these ice dunes can be dangerous.
