NAACP Local Leader Steps Down

March 4, 2013-  Andre Horton has resigned as president of the Erie branch of the NAACP.

Horton made the announcement this morning inside the St James AME Zion Church. He said the time was right to have a change in leadership.

The local vice president of the chapter is Tiffany McCloud. She will take over the presidency immediately.

Horton indicated he intends to remain active with the NAACP.
