Buddy's Thoughts
I went to Anna Shelter to look for a new friend and this is how my day went.
Mom got me up from my nap and I got in my car wondering what adventure lay ahead of me.
In no time we were at A.N.N.A. Shelter. Mom was pointing this thing at me, not sure what it was, but she used it a lot! I just sat in my car waiting for her to let me out. She went inside and then after a while she put me on my leash and we walked into the big building.
There was a very nice lady named Chris who petted me and was quite kind, I liked her spirit. Then I saw a little girl and said hi. Then I looked around, because there were a lot of fellow dogs barking and I didn’t know where they were. So I ventured down the hallway to see where the fellow dogs were! I saw many different sizes and shaped friends and sniffed a few. Then mom and Chris took me into a room. Mom sat on the chair and Chris left for a few minutes, while mom petted me and spoke softly. Then Chris brought in a nice dog friend, we greeted one another, but after awhile I was a bit tired and just sat near mom. Chris came back and took the dog friend away and brought another. We also sniffed for a while but then I wanted to just be with mom.
So Chris came again and mom and I walked towards the puppies I noticed when I originally walked in. They sure were cute and soft and they seemed really calm and nice. I think I could manage a little baby in the family.
Mom said we will be going back to look at the puppies because they were not ready to adopt just yet. I cannot wait!
When we go back, I have to remind mom that I need my dog license; I noticed that A.N.N.A. Shelter has them there. How convenient!
