COMPETITION:
A panel of five will judge auditions. The highest and lowest judge score will be thrown out and the remaining three scores will be totaled. FOX 66 reserves the right to alternate/remove judges at their discretion. The top 10 performers from the Millcreek Mall will have their dances recorded. The videos will be posted online at YourErie.com for one week after the presentation where the public can vote online. The public vote will be counted as 1/4th of the score total. The top scoring dancer after the judge and public vote are totaled will be the winner of the dance competition.

ENTRY PROCEDURE:
By filling out and signing the entry form, performers acknowledge receipt of and agree to abide by all of the rules and regulations set forth on this form. A copy of these rules and regulations will be given to you to keep after you have filled out and signed the official entry form.
3.
DISPUTES:
All decisions regarding the contest including, without limitation, rules, eligibility, contestant(s) selection, production, competition format, contestant(s) elimination, and award of prizes, are at FOX 66’s sole and exclusive discretion, are final and are not subject to appeal. FOX 66 reserves the right to disqualify any contestant(s) for any reason including, without limitation, any contestant(s)’s tampering with the application process or the operation of the application process, threatening or harming anyone involved in the competition, colluding with other contestant(s)s, or violation of rules.

ELIGIBILITY AND PERFORMANCE RULES:
A. Each contestant(s) must enter either as an individual act or a two dance partner act. No dance teams of three or more will be permitted.
B. The contestant(s)(s) must register in person in order to be able to perform. No contestant(s) shall be able to send someone else in their place to register for them.
C. A contestant(s) may not be a party to a recording agreement, publishing agreement, merchandising agreement, or exclusive touring agreement. Each contestant(s) must be able to dance/compete in accordance with the schedule set be FOX 66.
D. The amount of performance time given to each contestant(s) will be determined by FOX 66.
E. You must be present when the top 10 are announced in order to have your dance filmed. If your number is called and you are not present, you will not be allowed to have your dance filmed.
F. All performances must be done in good taste: no music or lyrics that the station or host venue considers to be offensive may be performed.
G. Contestant(s)s must be at least 18 years of age.
H. Use or possession of weapons, excessive alcohol, or non-prescription controlled substances by the contestant(s)s will not be permitted at any time during the competition.
I. Employees and immediate family members of FOX 66, Dance Erie sponsors, host locations, and judges are not eligible to compete.
5.
EXPENSES:
Contestant(s)s must pay for their own expenses during the competition.
6.
PROMOTIONAL AUTHORIZATION:
By signing and submitting the entry form to compete in Dance Erie, the performer grants to FOX 66 the right to utilize the performer’s name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, and performance in perpetuity worldwide for advertising, promotion, internet, trade, or any other lawful promotional purposes whatsoever, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, without compensation. I hereby give all clearance, copyright or otherwise, for the use of my name, likeness, image, voice, and appearance in connection with the Erie Dance contest.
7.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
By signing and submitting the entry form, the contestant(s) agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless FOX 66 and all host locations, and all other persons and/or entities connected with the Dance Erie competition from all claims and damages arising out of his/her participation in the application process or the Dance Erie competition itself, including but not limited to the production, administration or judging in any phase of the competition, any losses or damages of any kind caused by participating in the Dance Erie competition, or being selected to or disqualified from continuing in the competition, property damage or bodily injury (including death) that might occur during these events.
