Sean Lafferty came to Action News 24 in 1988 as city hall beat reporter. Since then, his assignments have included anchoring Good Morning Erie and Fox 66 News at 10 on sister station WFXP. Sean now co-anchors Action News 24  at 5, 5:30, 6 and 11 pm.

Before coming to Erie, Sean worked at radio stations WFUN/WREO in Ashtabula, Ohio and WAKC-TV in Akron, Ohio. He graduated in 1987 from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

After living in many different cities, Sean is happy to be raising a family in Erie with his wife, Joanne, and proud to call Erie "home."
