Dave Belmondo joined the Action News 24 team in October of 2003. He spent the previous 10 years at the CBS affiliate in Erie before moving on to JET-TV/WFXP.

Dave started his media career in radio in 1976. He worked in radio in Sarasota, Florida for several years before becoming the news director of WLKK radio in 1991.

Dave is listed in the 1980 edition of the Guinness Book Of World Records as the "World's Most Durable Disc Jockey". He spent 2016 hours (83 days) playing music non-stop. Sleeping consisted of 20 minute *naps*.

Dave lives in Girard with his wife Leslie and son Brent. He has two other children, Gennica and D.J. in the US Air Force.
