Kim Thomas joined the Action News 24 team in November 2006 as a general assignment reporter.
 
Before coming to JET, Kim worked as a reporter for the local CBS affiliate where she also interned.
 
Kim grew up in Suffolk, VA just outside of Virginia Beach. She made the move here to Erie in January of 2004 when she began attending the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. That’s where she would receive her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism.
 
Kim says she misses the shores of the Atlantic and most of all her family, but she is glad to have the beautiful beaches of Lake Erie to remind her of home. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her daughter, Madison. And anytime the sun is shining and the weather is warm, she loves nothing more than to be out on the water.
