Selena Wiles has ventured from West Virginia and Tennessee, to find her way to JET-TV and FOX 66 in Erie. Selena co-anchors with Sean Lafferty on JET-TV each weekday evening at 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, and 11pm. She's a graduate of the Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, the home of the Mountaineers. While in college, Selena worked for West Virginia Radio Corporation where she reported and anchored news for WAJR-AM. She also performed many other duties for several of the company's sister stations, including board operations for numerous sporting events and even a quick stint as a co-host for an afternoon radio show. In November of 2000, Selena made her move into television. That's when she started as a reporter at WDTV, News Channel 5 in Bridgeport, WV. In her two years there, Selena reported on everything from murder trials to the September 11th tragedy. She was one of the many reporters who did live reports from Sommerset, Pennsylvania that day. After one year as a reporter, Selena added anchoring to her resume. For five years before coming to Erie, Selena anchored the 5-6pm news on WJHL-TV in Johnson City, TN. Selena is a sports fan who loves Mountaineer football and basketball. But reading, watching the Food Network and spending time with her friends and family are also on her list of favorite things to do.
