Cassandra Garrison joined the Action News 24 and Fox 66 team in September 2007 as a General Assignment Reporter. In August 2008, she began anchoring Good Morning Erie, FOX 66 News in the Morning and Action News 24 at Noon. Cassandra earned a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast News from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. She worked as a reporter, anchor and producer for the noon broadcast Athens Midday News. During summer and holiday breaks, Cassandra had the chance to intern for KWCH, WSLS and WEWS in Cleveland. Her most recent internship experience was at CNN International in London. While working in the guest booking department, Cassandra got to book and pre-interview high-profile guests for stories like Hurricane Dean, the Madeleine McCann case and Pavarotti's death. She even got to interview Sonny West, Elvis Presley's bodyguard! Cassandra enjoys traveling the world and has already been to Mexico, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and various places around Britain. Cassandra is originally from Cleveland and is thrilled to have ended up along Lake Erie! She is a member of the Erie Triathlon Club and also enjoys traveling, cooking and exploring Presque Isle.
