    A former employee of the Erie school district wants to go back to her roots.

    Denice Manus taught in the Erie school district for 27 years, 18 of them at Wayne Middle School..

    Now she and her sister own a Sunoco station.

    Manus's concerns range from safety and discipline all the way to tighter tax dollars.

    She feels that she is the right person for the job.
