Reported by: Sky Yaple Tuesday, May 5, 2009 @03:55pm EDT If you're a veteran, you might want to take advantage of the 21st Century GI Bill.
Congresswoman Kathy Dahlkemper spoke on the house floor today to encourage veterans to use the educational benefits they get from the bill. Dahlkemper believes the service soldiers provide the country should be rewarded not only words, but also with something tangible. "Any member of the military who served on active duty since September 11, 2001 can receive up to 4 years of college tuition including money for housing and books," she says.
