Governor Rendell’s proposed budget is drawing the ire of some Pennsylvania moms.

The budget eliminated $8.8 million dollars from the 2009 state budget for the eight public television stations in the Commonwealth.

The moms, kids in tow and volunteers staged a protest inside the capital rotunda over the funding cuts.

Without the restoration of these funds in next years state budget, station operations will be diminished, jobs could be eliminated and, for smaller stations, operations could cease altogether.
