Even though this weekend marks the official start of the summer beach and swimming season, we have been reporting on all sorts of activity at Presque Isle all year long.  

Earlier this week we told you about excitement in the bird watching community due to a pair of Least Bittern, a highly secretive marsh bird, nesting in plain sight on Preqsue Isle. 

So much to do all year long and within site of the city.
