Irene A. Ehrhart Lindsey, age 77, of Erie, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Erie. She was born in Titusville, PA on November 2, 1931, daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Ghering Ehrhart.

Irene had resided in Erie since 1950. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church. She was employed with Alliance Plastics for 17 years, retiring in 1992.

Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Errol J. Lindsey who died December 4, 2007 and one brother, Leland Ehrhart. Survivors include two sisters, Helen Whitmeyer of Davenport, Fla. and Ida Ewing of Massilion, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend the Funeral Service there on Saturday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Tommy O’Leary, Pastor, Eastminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Private interment, Franklin Cemetery.
