Lois V. Ulrich Liebel, age 86, of Harborcreek, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Erie on February 7, 1923, daughter of the late Linus and Victoria Ulrich.

Lois was a lifelong active member of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church. She and her husband were instrumental in the formation of the C.C.D. Lois was very devoted to her husband, home and family.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Liebel; a son, Robert J. Liebel; and a sister, Marilyn Merritt. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Reeger (Richard) of Gastonia, NC; one son, Thomas E. Liebel (Leona) of North East; two brothers, Robert Ulrich of Harborcreek and Richard Ulrich (Nancy) of Orlando, Fla.;daughter-in-law, Barbara J. Liebel; seven grandchildren, Courtney Martin, Stacey and Sara Reeger, Bryan, Jeffrey and Emily Liebel and Kelly Frankhouser; four great-grandchildren, Benjamin, James, Allison and Joshua; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy R.C.
