Beatrice Brown Wolfe, age 94, of Wesleyville, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Golden Living Center. She was born in Panama, NY on January 21, 1915, daughter of the late Willis and Lillian Durfee Brown. She was a lifelong Erie area resident.

Beatrice was a member of First Alliance Church. A graduate of Edinboro State Teachers College, she was a teacher with the Harbor Creek School District until her retirement. Before her marriage she taught in one room schools in Wayne Twp., near Corry, Pa.

The widow of Gilbert E. Wolfe who died in 1957, she is survived by two daughters, Joyce Harper and husband William of Warren, PA and Janet Blackner of Camp Hill, PA; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held conducted by Rev. William Harper, her son-in-law, at the convenience of the family. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, PA.
