  • Futrell, Melody Ann 
     Melody Ann Futrell, age 56, of Erie, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Golden Living Center. She was born in Erie, daughter of the late Robert and Geraldine Burrows Sheldon.

    Melody was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. She was employed at Pinnacle Plastics for 10 years. Melody loved helping others, crafts and most of all spending time with her family. She was always thinking of others. She was a graduate of Wattsburg High School, class of 1970.

    Melody is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dennis A. Futrell; one daughter, Geri Kohler (Dwight) of Clarksville, TN; one son, Robert Futrell of Erie; seven brothers, Robert Clinton Sheldon of North East, William James Sheldon of North East, Craig Michael Sheldon (Tina) of Erie, Kelvin Dennis Sheldon (Rose) of Wattsburg, Jeffrey Jon Sheldon (Robin) of Ravenna, OH, Frank Anthony Sheldon (Bridget) of North East and David Andrew Sheldon of Harborcreek Twp.; two grandchildren, James Cameron Kohler and Joshua Thomas Kohler; several nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

    Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., West, 536 West 10th Street on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Wednesday at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Aaron Kerr of First United Methodist Church. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the D.A.V. Auxiliary, P.O.
