Timothy C. Deaner, age 55, of Erie, residing at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born in Erie on March 20, 1954, son of Marian Deaner of Erie and the late George Deaner.
Tim was a machinist and had previously worked at Leland and American Turned Products. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam Era. Tim enjoyed model building, reading military books and watching war movies. Besides his mother, he is survived by one brother, Kevin Deaner of Lawrence Park; two sisters, Debbie Lukaszewski (Dennis) of Stevens Point, WI and Nancy Kaiser (Robert) of Lawrence Park; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. James McCormick. A full military service will follow conducted by American Legion Carl Neff Post #571. Private interment at PA Soldiers & Sailors Cemetery.
