Robert “Billy Bob” Russum, age 65, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born in Dover, Del. on June 16, 1944, son of the late Thomas and Blanche Russum.

Billy Bob was a diesel mechanic, working for Schwartz Motor Co. in Dover, Del. He was an active member of A.A. and often led the Basic Text Training Group meetings.

Survivors include two children, Pam Russum and Dale R. Russum; two brothers, John Russum (Carla) and Thomas Russum; a dear friend, Arlene Burrows; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister, Peggy Merchant.
