Michael L. Pencille, age 57, of Harborcreek, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born on May 25, 1952 in Union City, Pa. the son of Della Long Pencille and the late Oscar Pencille.

Michael had been employed with Riley Stoker for 34 years. He was a member of the LaNuova Aurora Club for many years. He was also a member of the Boilermakers Local 151. Michael was a die hard Pittsburgh Steeler and Dale Earnhardt fan.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his stepson, Nicholas Bessette. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 11 years, Deborah Bessette Pencille; one daughter, Amy Pencille of Cambridge Springs, Pa.; one son, Jeffery M. Pencille of North East, Pa.; stepsons, Garry Hennis of Allentown, Pa., Michael Cunningham of Tenn., Edward Cunningham (Amy) of Erie and Benny Cunningham (Cathy) of Erie; one grandson, Garrett Hennis of Allentown, Pa.; three step-grandchildren, Ryan, Megan and David all of Erie; three sisters, Peggy, Della (Wilfredo) and Gladys Ann; three brothers, Oscar (Betty), Nelson (Barb) and Bradley; his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Mildred Smith; one sister-in-law, Cindie Nearhoof (Doug); two brothers-in-law, Kevin Smith and David Smith (Marie); many nieces, nephews and cousins.
