Despite suffering its first loss of the season, the Mercyhurst women's hockey team remained #1 in the latest USCHO.com national poll. The Lakers split a weekend series with #5 Minnesota-Duluth Friday and Saturday. Hurst received ten of 15 first place votes and will play its first conference game this Friday at Wayne State.
