Chris Cerenelli comes to Action News 24 and FOX 66 from WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio. There he served as weekend weather anchor and weekday reporter and learned a great deal about the business. Before that, he was an associate producer at WSMV in Nashville, TN where he graduated with a B.S. in Journalism from Belmont University's New Century Journalism Program. He also served internships at WSMV and WZTV in Nashville, as well as WYTV in his hometown of Youngstown, Ohio.

In his spare time, Chris is a big golfer (Sectional Champion in high school) as well as a singer/musician. His connections in Nashville include country music star Vince Gill as well as a few well known songwriters. He loves football, basketball, and spending time with friends and family in Youngstown. He says it's nice to be closer to home!
