An accident in Oil Creek Township in Crawford County claimed the life of a 22 year old Spartansburg man.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. Sunday morning on SR 89, approximately 300 feet south of Hartman Road.

22 year old Joshua Beattie was traveling north when he lost control of his car and crossed into the southbound lane.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The car spun and began to roll, hitting 2 more trees before coming to a stop.

The investigation into the crash is still underway.
