Tuesday, Nov 24, 2009 @05:42pm EST It’s the largest baby crib recall in history, 2.1 million Stork Craft cribs are being recalled in America and Canada after the cribs have caused a number of deaths.
One local organization says they are here to help parents, and are urging everyone to contact them if they think their crib is unsafe. Stork Craft, the popular crib company, is recalling more than two million of the drop side cribs from Canada and America. The drop side in many cases breaks or is too hard to install, more than a hundred times that detachment has dropped on a baby, four babies are dead. The Erie's Safe Kids program is urging parents to call the department for answers if you think your crib might have been recalled. The department recommends parents don’t use any drop side crib during the recall find an alternative safe sleeping space. The number for the Safe Kids is 451-6543.
