Our strongest commitment to the community is the time and effort we give to our families after the funeral. We believe that this is a very important part of our responsibility. Following the funeral, we pay attention to any questions or concerns that you may have. That is why we have the most extensive and thorough follow-up program in the community. It is not a new program to us, but one with which we have been serving our families since 1946. It is unique to our funeral home, as we take that extra step of time and involvement, which is a gift to our families. We also tie in to community programs that will benefit and support the families we serve. We help sponsor and participate in bereavement programs and have a very thorough speaking program available to community groups, service clubs, and churches. The educational programs are not limited to, but include the following: the purpose and value of pre-arranging, details one needs to work through following a loss, both financial issues and emotional issues, and the history of funerals and how they developed.
On a personal note, the staff at Dusckas have their own areas of community involvement which include church ties, Masonic affiliations, and many youth and sports groups. These are all areas that our staff believe in, are committed to, and have developed because of their strong family ties to the community. |
