    Winter Weather Advisories for most of Northwest PA through tonight.

    Winter Storm Warning Venango, Forest, Mercer counties through 7am Wednesday.


    Light Snow and Mix develops this afternoon...
    Light Snow will develop in the region this afternoon.  Expect some sleet or freezing rain to mix in with the snow by late afternoon or early evening.  Mix will stay longest in the mountains to the east, while it will be more rain Erie to Franklin.  All changes back to snow by midday Wednesday

    TODAY
    : Mostly Cloudy Skies. Light Snow developing this afternoon.  Snow mixing with sleet or freezing rain south of Erie by mid afternoon, then all freezing rain by early evening.  The freezing mix may arrive in Erie and the Chautauqua/Allegheny region late afternoon or very early in the evening. (Near supper time)

    Winds: E 5-10....SE 10-15
    High: 30-35

    TONIGHT: 

    Erie to Franklin: Mix of sleet/freezing rain/snow in the evening, then mainly rain with possible freezing rain late evening through daybreak.

    Farther East: Sleet/Freezing Rain/snow will continue for the whole night.  Crusty 1-2" possible, along with icy conditions

    Winds: SE 10-20
    Low: (Erie to Franklin) Near 30 evening....Rising to 34-38 after midnight

             (Jamestown to Warren and east) 28-32 through the night


    TOMORROW: 

    Erie to Franklin: Rain changing to snow showers by midday.  Less than an inch expected.

    Farther East: Freezing Mix to Rain, then to snow by early afternoon.  Light accumulation possible

    Winds: SW 10-20

    Temps: 32-38 AM....Little cooler in the afternoon
