After much discussion about if the Tea Party should be allowed in Millcreek Township's Fourth of July Parade, tonight they finally have their answer.
Coordinators of the parade were surprised when they received the Tea Party's application, but they OK-ed their application because the Tea Party is not representing any party.
The concept of Millcreek's Fourth of July Parade is simple, a family parade, and in the past coordinators have not allowed Republicans, Democrats or any political body to march in the parade, but Co-Chair Pete Neelon tells us the Tea Party presents a whole new avenue.
But according to Millcreek Township Supervisor Rick Figaski, this is the first time the Tea Party has requested inclusion in the parade.
Political activist Lou Aliota sent in the application that was approved within two weeks, he says they will be distributing information about what the Tea Party stands for, such as limited government and fiscal responsibility... he hopes there will be no controversy.

Regardless of anyone's opinions of the Tea Party, this simply opens the floodgates for more problems. Now the 99%-ers are going to start providing opposition to the Tea Party's inclusion, thusly turning a once enjoyable family parade into another platform for ridiculous, partisan, media-brainwashed melodrama.

Totally ridiculous!!! The tea party IS affiliated as Political...What are they against??? If you know the answer to this...then you KNOW irrevocably that they ARE a POLITICAL party and are getting away with yet again...another thing...Their MAIN concern IS political...so what would you call them instead???
Here's whay Wikipedia explains they are!!!
The Tea Party movement (TPM) is an American populist, "POLITICAL" movement that is generally recognized as conservative and libertarian, and has sponsored protests and supported political candidates since 2009...
THEY DO NOT BELONG IN THE PARADE!!!

This is ridiculous. The tea party got accepted into the parade by claiming that they are not political. They are nothing but political! They are obnoxious, confrontational and divisive. They should not be allowed in the parade.
