10-11-12 Pet owners are spending more this year on Pet costumes than ever before. According to the National Retail Federation, spending on Halloween costumes for pets is expected to hit a record 370 million dollars. That's up 20% from 2011.

At Pet Smart on Peach Street in Erie, there are several isles and displays filled with costumes for pets. Superheros top the list. There is even a Martha Stewart collection made up mostly of spandex outfits.
