Tracy Plea Short Circuits Murder Trial

A Crawford county murder trial is over before it got started, but the whole story of the killing of a Conneautville man continues to unfold.

 

Brandon Todd Tracy was set to stand trial for the murder of Ronald Shreffler, but the 19 year old man pleaded guilty to the crime Friday afternoon.

 

Tracy was charged with the murder along with three other men last September.

 

One of the co defendants, Austin Taylor, entered a guilty plea October 3.

 

A plea hearing is set for a third defendant October 16. That man is  20 year old Alan Watkins of Harmonsburg.

 

The fourth defendant, 17 year old Dakota Taylor, also of Harmonsburg is also charged with murder in the case. No court date has been set for him.
