DEP Hosts Natural Gas Cars Seminar

16, 2012--Filling
your tank could be a lot cheaper if you use natural gas and today the DEP
shared specifically how to take advantage of the option.
The Department of Environmental protection
held a natural gas vehicle seminar at the Bayfront Convention Center in Erie, to help municipal and commercial
fleet owners make informed decisions about converting their fleets to
compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas.
Starting next year the application
for grants to take advantage of the project will be available and the DEP says
there are many benefits to natural gas.
Over the next three years $20 million in grant money will be available.
