After visiting the local Humane Society with Saint Paul's Childcare Center, one 8-year-old decided he was ready to help them out.
Traci Teudhope introduces us to this week's Good Kid.
Meet Donavin Wolf, an 8 year old on a mission to help out his furry friends.
Donavin:
"Cause these animals need a good home and they need to get taken care of"
And that simple act of kindness makes for some very proud parents.
Andrew Gregory, Donavin's dad says:
"Just that he wanted to do something for somebody else so selfless, and you don't see that a lot with a lot of kids and even his age too."
Donavin has been making beaded bracelets and necklaces to sell, raising money to help out our humane society.
Joe Grisanti:
"He's mature beyond his years, very generous, very selfless, very impressive. We wish everyone could be like Donavin. He really sets an example for the rest of us today."
And after just 8 short years of life, he knows animals will always be a big part of his life.
Andrew Gregory:
"He came here and that's all he talked about for days. He loves them; he wants to be a zoologist when he grows up and it doesn't matter what kind of animal."
