Tonight, we wrap up our final candidate profile series. It's on the race for Pennsylvania's Fifth Congressional District.

This district includes many western Pennsylvania counties, and soon, as the result of redistricting, part of Erie county.

Last night we heard from incumbent Republican Congressman, Glenn Thompson. Tonight, it's his opponent Democrat Charles Dumas.

Charles Dumas lives in State College where he is a professor at Penn State University.

The Democratic candidate says he's running for congress because he believes the fifth district needs representation which includes the best interests of the people.

Dumas says his top priority, if elected U.S. Representative, is to establish communication between parties, between the house and senate and between congress and the president.

With less than two weeks before Election Day, Charles Dumas explains the kind of representation you can expect from him, if elected.
