Knowing how to make learning fun is the trademark of this week's Golden Apple Award winner.

Tonight, Lou Baxter and company surprise a first grade teacher at Cambridge Springs Elementary School.

Mrs. Rebecca Leandro has been teaching for more than 20 years, and says winning this week's Golden Apple Award is a bit overwhelming.

She's very much appreciated by Brendan Tucci, his older brother and the entire Tucci family. They love the classroom projects that Mrs. Leandro uses to teach her first graders.

There's no doubt the Tucci boys have been inspired. Just like Rebecca Leandro was when she attended Cambridge Springs High School.

Congratulations to Mrs. Rebecca Leandro, this week's Jet 24 Edinboro University Golden Apple Award Winner.
