SWAT Team Searches an East Side House

Erie police ... Including the SWAT team ... Converge on an East side house to serve a search warrant tonight...

According to police at the scene ... The investigation that led them to 644 East 9th street was a joint effort by the Erie Police Department's Narcotics unit ... Burglary squad ... Saturation unit and neighborhood action team...

The SWAT team commander told us police had obtained information that there were items believed to have been taken during a burglary and people there quote "known to be armed" ... And that's why swat was brought in...

Police could be seen walking out of the house with several guns and electronics....
