OCTOBER 26, 2012-The Faces 2012 Kanzius Cancer Research Foundations first national conference kicked off tonight.

The sold out event brought supporters and top researchers together to address the hard work that has been completed so far.

Top researchers from across the country tell us they are working hard to fight cancer and one day find a cure through John Kanzius' discovery of a non-invasive radio wave cancer treatment.

The treatment is said to have no side effects.

And now, researchers are moving toward the next step eventually hoping to treat humans.

Mark Neidig, Executive Director of Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, believes showcasing those successes is an important part of this conference.

Dr. Steven Curley says this conference would bring a smile to John Kanzius' face knowing that his innovation is positively affecting the Erie community.

The two day conference wraps up tomorrow.

Researchers will showcase their findings to this exclusive group.

Political commentator and media personality Glenn Beck is scheduled to speak tomorrow afternoon.
