Coroner Called To Edinboro Apartment Fire

 Erie County coroner Lyell Cook has identified the fire victim as 41 year old Jolee Sherrell, an autopsy was performed this afternoon and no signs of foul were found. A official cause of death is pending on a toxicology report. Deputy coroner Dennis Suscheck was called to the apartment in Edinboro after a smokey fire was reported just after 7:15 Saturday night.

The first fire units on the scene at the apartment at 110 Erie Street reported heavy smoke inside the building.. A woman was reportedly found dead near the door of the downstairs apartment.

It appears the fire was contained to a chair in one of the rooms. The investigation is continuing.
