No stranger to the law, an 18 year old Erie man pleaded guilty to aggravated assault today.

Tareek Hanner pleaded guilty to the charge in front of Erie County Judge Brabender.

The charge stems from an incident back in April when Hanner reportedly fired shots at people inside a car in the 800 block of West 17th Street.

Charges stemming from a previous incident in which Hanner was accused of shooting a man at a party were dropped after witnesses failed to show up in court.

Hanner's sentencing is set for January 2nd.
