The attorney for a thirteen year old accused of murdering his grandparents wants the boy tried in juvenile court.
State Police say Zachary Proper shot George and Dorothy Fross at their home in Sandycreek Township, Venango County on October 9.
Proper was charged as an adult for the crime.
A preliminary hearing before Venango County District Judge Michael Snyder had been scheduled for Wednesday morning. Proper's attorney, Virginia Garris Sharp has moved for a hearing in Venango County Common Pleas court to have him tried as a juvenile.
That proceeding has not yet been scheduled.
