Late night accident

    One person was transported to UPMC Hamot by helicopter following a late night accident.
    Around 11:20pm, rescue crews were called to 9124 Main street in McKean for a car into a telephone pole with entrapment.
    According to State Police in Erie, 27 year-old Kelly Harper was traveling northbound on Edinboro road in McKean when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the utility pole.
    Harper was flown to UPMC Hamot by Medevac.
    There were no passengers in the car.
    Penelec was called in for downed wires.

Living across the street I can assure you we were without power for nearly 2 hours after the person hit the pole.
