Calamari's Squid Row restaurant carried on a three year tradition this Thanksgiving day. opening it's doors for the annual Thanksgiving For The Needy.

More than a dozen students from Mercyhurst Prep gave up their day with family and friends to serve the public a warm thanksgiving meal. The restaurant opened its doors at ten this morning.

In the rear of the restaurant Mercyhurst Prep students boxed and packed "to go" dinners for those who are not able to venture out

But the need to help others extends out of the Erie City limits. In Albion, several people enjoyed a warm Thanksgiving meal at the Albion Fire hall thanks to the generosity of the Keepville Bible Methodist Church
