November 29, 2012 - An Erie man accused of several burglaries on the city's west side has been apprehended and charged.

Juan Cartegena, 18, was arrested and faces burglary charges from incidents that happened since July.

He reportedly took mostly electronics from homes on the west side, most incidents had items taken that totaled more than $1,000.

Erie police say Deshawn Peters, 18, was allegedly an accomplice.

He was arrested on November 17th, charged with burglary, and recently charged again with three more burglaries.

Comments

Trashcan Erie has a disproportionate amount of senseless and wanton criminal violence for a city of its size. It's about time the governor put some guard troops on the streets of this town and started cracking down on the terrorists who live right here.
