Smith's hot dogs are a local favorite, and you may be consuming more of them soon if youre planning on heading to some hockey games.

The hockey strike is over and the Pittsburgh Penguins start their season on Saturday. For many Pennsylvania residents, this means heading to the games, and the concession stands.

Smith's hot dogs are a family staple at game time and they're also the official hot dog of both the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Consol Energy Center.

Production for the Penguins season is up and running in full force at the plant in erie.

Smith hot dogs arent just a premium quality product, theyre the pride of Erie when it comes to great hot dogs, kielbasa and more.

They describe their product as an old fashioned hot dog made from beef and pork, in addition to all fresh ingredients.

Smith provision company even smokes their hot dogs with local sugar maple wood.

Folks at Smith's say even though hockey season is late this year, theyre looking forward to the next few months, and hopefully distributing to some play off games!
