Experts say the best way to beat the flu is by building a tougher immune system.
Victoria Innes works at the whole foods co-op in Erie and she holds a Masters of Science degree in human nutrition.
She says a key way to improve your immune system can be found in fruits like oranges and lemons.
Innes also suggests drinking lots of fluids, sleeping for eight to twelve hours a night, exercising, and overall just living a healthier lifestyle. She says all of those things help build a stronger immune system.
