A lone bank robber didn't take the weekend off.

Erie police are looking into the robbery this morning at an east side Marquette Bank.

Police were called to the bank in the 17 hundred block of East 38th Street, around 10:15 this morning.

Erie police said the suspect was a white man, about 6 foot one inch tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

He reportedly told the teller he had a gun, but no weapon was seen.

Police were reportedly looking at surveillance tape taken from the bank.
