It's always a walk down memory lane when you can return to a school that you once attended and remember the fun times you had, especially in high school.
this week's Golden Apple Award winner has the pleasure of teaching at her alma mater.
Lou Baxter has our story from Wattsburg.
Mrs. Sharon Gdaniec is an English and Drama teacher at Seneca High School.
She's been teaching for 20 years and believes that whatever success she enjoys as a teacher comes from her love of learning.
Sharon Gdaniec said: "I've always liked being a ... pass that on to my students.
At what point in your ... never looked back since then."
Student Kyle Strickenberger nominated his teacher for the Golden Apple Award because she's unlike a lot of other teachers.
Kyle Strickenberger, student nominator, said: "She really doesn't treat ... especially for a teacher."
He writes in his letter that Mrs. Gdaniec is both a common person and a teacher.
Mary Jo Melvin, PhD., Edinboro University, said: "And what he means ... Golden Apple Award winner this week."
Congratulations to Mrs. Sharon Gdaniec of Seneca High School.
