Now that the courts have ruled that Girard Township has authority over Lake Erie Community Park, the campers staying there are wondering what's next.

Chances are that they will be asked to move out of the park. Many of the campers have called the park their summer home for decades and leave their campers there year round. Now those campers will be gone and business owners are preparing for the worst. Dan Seaman owns Elk Creek Sports Store in lake city, just a stones throw from the park. He said campers spend a lot of money at his store for food, gasoline and fishing supplies. He says that business will be lost, and other nearby businesses like restaurants and beer stores will also see a loss in business.

Girard Township Supervisor Bill Felege says he doesn't believe that will be the case and if there is any economic impact it will be short term. Felege says the park has plans to install hiking trails and playgrounds and pavilions once the campers leave and added that there are millions of dollars in grants that will be used to improve the park

Sounds like, Girard Township Supervisor Bill Felege just wants all of those, "millions of dollars in grants" and could care less about those people who have helped Girard all of those years...he got greedy when he heard of all that money Huh????
