February 18, 2013- A fire ripped through a cottage at Waldameer Park and Water World just days ago.
Investigators are piecing together how this may have happened.
It was Thursday evening when fire officials rushed to Waldameer Park for a cottage in flames.
Waldameer officials were in a panic when they first got word, but then became relieved.
This cottage was one of twenty that was purchased during Waldameer's large garage sale and auction in December.
The cottage was scrapped and the person who purchased it took what they wanted.
Waladameer reps say they spoke with police.
And they say police told them a witness saw two people running away from the scene of the fire.
Waldameer officials say the area where the cottages are located will be turned into a parking lot.
They will be demolished by the end of the week.
